greymatter 1.7.3 Error NoticeThe file "/home/kialine/public_html/archives/gm.html" doesn't seem to exist. Please check that your files are in the correct location and that GreyMatter is configured correctly. I do not have gm.html in /archives and for some reason it keeps adding in /archives to the error message whenever I go to post my first test entry. This is the pathing I have in my config file: Local Log Path: /home/kialine/public_html Local Entries/Archives Path: /home/kialine/public_html/archives Local CGI Path: /home/kialine/public_html/cgi-bin Website Log Path: kiali.netWebsite Entries Path: kiali.net/archivesWebsite CGI Path: kiali.net/cgi-binEmoticons Path: /home/kialine/public_html/emoticons Index filename: gm.html Can anyone help me with this? I have been a gm user for about 7 years now but I have been using the old version for about 3 years now. This is my first time using the new version (this was a new install, not an upgrade) and I am not sure what the issue is. Could it be a CHMOD problem? I thought I CHMOD'ed everything correctly and still getting this error. Please help!

Copy a blank file with the name of the index file into the kiali.net/archives folder. Now rebuild all files. This should take care of it. Enjoy, Carlos

Carlos hit it on the head, gm is looking for the index file in your archives (the error message should probably tell you to create the file).
So if you make an file: /home/kialine/public_html/archives/gm.html with the correct permissions, you should be fine.

So by creating that file and putting it into that directory, will I have to use that file as my "index" or can I use my original one on just /public_html?

Its already set to be the index file for the archive directory (by your configuration). Greymatter has two index files, one at the top directory "/home/kialine/public_html" and one in your archives. Even with that file you'll still goto kiali.net/gm.html

Do I need to put anything inside the index file in the archives directory?

No, it just needs to exist with the right permissions.

What permissions should it be set to when I CHMOD it?

That should be chmodded to 666.
