Hi everybody,
I want to run valid xhtml strict in my posts - but how can I tell greymatter to do this?
Most things I managed but I do not understand how greymatter to go to generate xhtml. Further more: how can I tell it NOT to generate the border-attribute for img-Elements??
For example I wrote <img src="myimg.img" /> and greymatter generates <img border="0" src="myimg.img"> or I wrote: <br /> and it generates: <br>
I thought I found everything to switch to xhtml but finally I did not.
Is there anyony who can help my?
Best regards, Matilda/Germany

*uuups I am sorry! The border="0" was hardcoded by myself .... but there is still the problem that I do not know how to tell greymatter to generate <br /> instead of <br> in my new entrys.

Log into your Greymatter Admin page and goto
Edit Templates > Editing Miscellaneous Templates > Paragraph Separator
then change the <br> in the text box to <br />
now Save Template Changes and Rebuild Files.
Enjoy, Carlos

Hi Carlos, thank you very much ;D it works - and moreover your advice solve another problem: I puzzled over the additional <br> after <li> in lists ... To cut a long story short I deleted the break and the entrys appear as I want them to best regards, matilda
