Sorry - for the length of this..... Regards, Dave Shogren
I am modifying the Header (via the templates) fine. I am always amazed that things work! Thank you for the approach.
However, I am "stumped" by something... of course....
I am using PERL version 5.8.8 and the Greymatter version 1.3.1
I am not sure what operating system the server uses (Earthlink) -- I originally asked for UNIX but I would guess they are using LINOX now. If that is important, I can find that out.
Anyway -
The following works fine outside Greymatter. I am quite sure the paths-as-used are OK (I will continue to check that) but, I am wondering if the following would be expected to work from a Greymatter point of view. The immediate-shown, below, is in the HEAD area:
Thanks, in advance, for a comeback as to if you think this will work with Greymatter.
----
<head>
.... normal Greymatter stuff
.... next. my stuff:
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://www.scscompa.com/MainWebPage/CascadeMenu/gmpagetlanavigation1.css">
<script language="JavaScript1.2" src="http://www.scscompa.com/MainWebPage/CascadeMenu/tlacascademenuapi.js" type="text/javascript">
<!--
-->
</script>
<script language="JavaScript1.2" src="http://www.scscompa.com/MainWebPage/CascadeMenu/gmpagetlacascademenucode.js" type="text/javascript">
<!--
-->
</script>
<script language="JavaScript1.2" src="http://www.scscompa.com/MainWebPage/CascadeMenu/gmpagetlanavigation2.js" type="text/javascript">
<!--
-->
</script>
------
I trigger the above within the "Body" as follows.
<body>
<script language="JavaScript1.2" type="text/javascript">
<!--
TLAHeadernav1.writeMenuBar();
//-->
</script>
Thanks, again, for a comment as to if you think this should work with PERL (as it does outside of PERL).
If you think it should.... I will continue to see what I am doing wrong.
Regards,
Dave Shogren
