Alright, I have no idea what's wrong or what I'm doing wrong. I've been using GM for a long time now and I just got it reinstalled for this site that I'm hosted on now, and I'm beginning having problems (never did before). Go to textlies.org/rhythm/cgi-bin/, it's the link to the blog section of my soon-to-be-up site... so you can see for yourself. If you click on the "Got Rhythm?" link (for pop up comments) in the top entry, it pops up the latest post content to post comments on. If you click it on the other entry, it pops up the same comments for the LATEST post as well... not for the actual content that was previously written for that specific date. Know what I'm saying? In the {{commentslink}} Template, I have this code: <a href="javascript:" onclick="window.open('{{pagelink}}','','scrollbars=yes, resizable=no,status=no, menubar=no, toolbar=no, width=400px,height=450px'); return false">{{commentstatussmart}}</a> I, personally, don't see anything wrong with it... that it'd make that problem happen... unless it's more deep and beyond than that. Pleeeease help.

Yeah, that {{pagelink}} variable is being strange, seems like it should work, but I think it might depend on the how the rest of Greymatter is configured. You could try to replace it with '{{commentspostlink}}' or '{{commentslink}}'.
Write back if this doesn't work.

I forgot to say that: GM: 1.3 On: Windows 2000 I tried replacing pagelink with the other two you suggested and it didn't work. Would you like me to copy/paste my codes from specific areas (if so, which?) to show you what I have down? Just incase it's a problem elsewhere.

I was wondering if you have your site configured to 'generate individual entries'? I believe that setting can cause the 'pagelink' variable not to work properly.
If you can, post the template that uses {{commentslink}} (log body I think).

Yes, I have the "generate pages for individual entries" on. If I clicked no, wouldn't that disable comments? That's what it says will happen anyway. Main index template:<HTML> <HEAD> <META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> <LINK REL=stylesheet HREF="http://textlies.org/rhythm/style.css" TYPE="text/css"> </HEAD> <style type="text/css"> body {background-color: transparent} </style>
<font color="black"> <font face="arial"><p align="justify"> {{logbody}} </p> This is what I have in all the Entry Page Template boxes:<HTML> <HEAD> <META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> <LINK REL=stylesheet HREF="http://textlies.org/rhythm/style.css" TYPE="text/css"> </HEAD> <style type="text/css"> body {background-color: transparent} </style> <font face="arial"> <font color="black">
{{cookiescode}} <div class="content"> <div class="path"><a href="{{pageindexlink}}" title="back to frontpage">Home</a> |AMP|raquo; <a href="{{pagearchiveindexlink}}" title="weblog archives">Archives</a> |AMP|raquo; <a href="{{entrieswebpath}}/archive-{{monthmonth}}{{yearyear}}.{{archivesuffix}}" title="archive of {{monthword}} {{yearyear}}">{{monthword}} {{yearyear}}</a> |AMP|raquo; {{entrysubject}}</div><br /> <p> {{previouslink}} {{nextlink}} </p>
<h1>{{monthmonth}}/{{dayday}}/{{yearyear}}: "{{entrysubject}}"</h1> {{smartentrymusic}}{{smartentrymood}}<br /> <p align="justify"> {{entrymainbody}} <br /><br /> {{entrymorebody}} </p> </div>
<div class="content"> {{commentdivider}} {{entrycomments}} {{entrycommentsform}} </div> {{footer}} Any of those?

You are correct, setting 'no' would disable comments (I think).
I was wondering if you can post: "Index Entry Template: Standard Entries" template? See if it uses {{commentslink}}.
