I've edited the {{sidebar}} to go to a few different pages, and it works on all of my pages, however, when I click on the archives link, it links to those pages and adds the archives folder into the url. For example. link to my writings section is as follows. www.matfox.com/writings.htmunder the archives page the sidebar displays the link as www.matfox.com/archives/writings.htmI can't find the code anywhere for this or why it would be adding an archives directory to my links. please take a look at my page and see what I am talking about. I am using greymatter 1.7.1 windows xp not sure of the platform or perl version.

I am guessing it has to do with the way your sidebar template is setup. It might even be your paths, but that seems alot less likely.
Can you post your template for your sidebar? I can point out the specific cause then. Although I'd bet dollar to donuts you are using:
{{pagearchiveindexlink}} instead of:
{{pageindexlink}}
The {{pagearchiveindexlink}} is going to have that /archives/ bit on it.

<p><a href="{{pageindexlink}}">Home</a><br /> <a href="{{pagearchiveindexlink}}">Archives</a><br />
<a href="music.htm">Music</a><br /> <a href="writings.htm">Writings</a><br /> <a href="webdesign.htm">Web Design</a><br /><br />
{{calendar}}
{{searchform}}

Doh I fixed it!
I wasn't putting the full URL of my links, I was simply placing them locally and it was looking for them within the archives directory. Simple html error. My mistake.
Thanks,
Matt
