I was looking for the forums because I know I read about creating 2 blogs on the same server before.
I'm pretty sure that it involves a second installation of Greymatter, but I was hoping to read any tips from someone that has done it before.
I just bought another domain and want to run that site from the same server as my first. I'm hoping to have a Greymatter setup for that one too.
If anyone has experience doing this, could you describe the process? Was it difficult to set up? Any tricks to make it work?
Thanks

Hi, You are right, you need to have multiple installations of Greymatter to have multiple blogs. This is on my "wish list" to fix in a future version of Greymatter. I currently have three greymatter blogs on my server, all three on the same website but on different subdomains. I have one on Oracle Security which is my main site and also one on SQL server security and finally my web development blog. Have a look, you can see how I have used the same directory structures both physically and logically and I can successfully use all three blogs from the same server and site. Also for you info I wrote a blog entry Multiple blogs in Greymatter some time ago discussing this issue and also of more use a post titled Copying Greymatter for multiple blogs which describes how I went about copying an install to use for multiple blogs. On the future issue, I think we should look to add multiple blogs through one intreface to Greymatter. What does everyone else think? cheers Pete

I was just wondering if that is a feature of WP or MT? Not that it really matters, I think the GM community can decide which features to have regardless of what other ones have. This seems like it might be a big step though. It would take some discussion. FYI, I notice your greymatterforum links on your blogs still point to the old forums
