Hi all I've just installed greymatter and it looks pretty good. I'm hoping to change the template so that the appearance is the same as my website. Problem is, I'm a bit confused about the relationship between a template and CSS. Obviously, I can't just upload the CSS file I've written for the website and hope it'll work, but I'm not sure how to edit the template to tell it to use my CSS file - or even if this is possible! Can anyone help explain what I need to do?

Amanda, The Greymatter templates come with the CSS in the template header file so everything needed to generate webblog pages is included, but you are free to change anything you want. Log into the Greymatter Control Panel and select the following to get to the header template Edit Templates > Editing Header, Footer & Sidebar (& Custom) Templates In the Header Template you see the inline CSS in the template. Replace or remove the CSS it is your choice. Greymatter templates are mostly HTML or XHTML except they use a special tags called Template Variables. The Manual shows all the Template Variables, here is a link for the Manual online phd-hosting.com/greymatter/downloads/gm_manual.html#n8Enjoy, Carlos
