Hi!, I'd like to change the Greymatter emoticons. I changed the code, I uploaded the new emoticons, but they don't work and in the Add A New Entry page, there are still the old ones. I use the 1.3 version.
What can I do about it? Is there any way to change the emoticons?

It sounds like you did everything correctly. Perhaps its where you uploaded the new emoticons? Is it the same place as your Emoticon Location Configuration?
If you uploaded to /emoticons, then you will need to put the new ones there. Also, it depends on where you changed the code. There are at least two places to change the code for emoticons (gm_emoticons and gm_emoticons_code). The gm_emoticons_code should change what you see on the admin Add a New Entry page.

I changed the "{{entrycommentsform}} Posting Form" and "{{smartemoticonscode}} Template" codes, if you mean that If you are not referring to those, which ones? thank you very much for your help! ;D

I just want to clarify, you did not alter the file gm-library.cgi? The {{smartemoticonscode}} won't affect what you see on the Administrator screens.
So, do you see you emoticons on the page to post a comment? Can you provide an example url for your site?
When you uploaded your new emotions, did you upload them to the same location as the old ones and with the same filenames?

No, I didn't touch the gm-library.cgi file. Should I? The URL of my website is devil.fire-at-will.org. I uploaded the new emoticons to the same directory as the old ones (/emoticons), but they had different names, so I changed the code in the {{smartemoticonscode}} and {{entrycommentsform}} boxes. Edit: I modified the gm-library file, the emoticons problem is resolved, they work now =D You rock!! Now I have a new problem, my own greymatter doesn't let me log in, in the Login Prompt I write my username, password (i spelled it correctly) and it appears in red letters the message "You don't have access to log in.". What's wrong now?

Hmm, that is weird. Can you make a backup of your current gm-library.cgi and then replace it with an unmodified version? If that works then its something that changed in the file.
Otherwise, you can edit the gm-authors.cgi file and edit out the second field ( the text between the 1st and 2nd '|' character) with a new password.
For example:
Alice|wo34gFz9o|... To:
Alice|newpass|...
Write back if there are more issues.
