I hadn't used my gm in a while. When I went to do an entry today, I found that I can't remember my password and never wrote it down because (famous last words) 'I don't forget stuff like that'. Any idea of how to get in when you can't remember how to get in?

Follow these steps - Copy over the gm-authors.cgi file with the one that came with
your Greymatter download.
- Login with the default Alice user.
- Setup your user(s), make sure you use the same user names as before.
- Test the new users logins
- Delete the Alice user.
Now you are set. Enjoy, Carlos

For the brave of heart, you can also directly edit the gm-authors.cgi file. The authors are on each line, with the author name, password, etc. seperated by the '|' character. So you would edit the file in plaintext and you can copy the 'wonderland' password from the original gm-authors and paste it into the correct place in the new file.
