Hello everyone, I am trying to install greymatter onto one of my extra domains at www.lphome.org and I am having some trouble when I get to the config part. For the local content I can't find out what to find. I know most people put "home/public_html/something/" but I don't think that is right for me. I use 1and1 for my host and for my domain it says "Document root:/homepages/41/d204360365" and I tried putting that in before but i get this error. Can't save the file "/homepages/41/d204360365/greymatter/archives/gm-testfile.txt". Please make sure that directory to save the file is CHMODed to 666 and try running Diagnostics & Repair from the Configuration screen.
I have the lphome.org site set so that greymatter is it's main directory. I was just wondering if anyone uses 1and1 with greymatter, and what they set their local content to.

The best I could find on 1and1 FAQ is: A quick way to check if that is the correct path is to make a test file in: "/homepages/41/d204360365/greymatter/archives/" and see if you can view it with your web browser. The paths can be tricky. The 'pwd.cgi' script on this page: web.petefinnigan.com/greymatter_mods.htmWill help. Basically, download the pwd.txt file to your cgi-directory, then chmod it to 755, and hit it from a web browser. Write back if you need more help. Otherwise, your 1and1 suport should be able to tell you what your path to your home directory is. Lastly, if you path is correct, make sure the 'archives' directory is chmoded 777.
