I have used Greymatter successfully for at least three years...but within the past couple of days I have lost the ability to upload pic's etc through the upload function. I checked my available server space and that is fine....I reinstalled all of the core files...still receiving error message "Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request...." Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Is there anything in your server logs?
Also, how far can you get when you try uploading? Do you get an error after you click 'upload' or do you get an error when you try to goto the upload section of the admin menu?
Upload is a little strange in that its a seperate script, even though it is only for admins. The file you want to look at is gm-upload.cgi, did you re-install this file? This is puzzling as if its a permission issue, then GM should give some meaningful message back.

Thanks for getting back so quickly...the server logs look uneventful...I am able to get into the the upload section ...the error message prompts after I click upload. I did reinstall that file initially then I reinstalled all of the core files...including that one again...but I still receive the error message

I just went in to check that link again and now it's working ? It's possible that the server administrator runs a scheduled update on all of their servers...and mine was just updated...thanks again...
