Okay, this is Very Strange. I'm running 1.8.1; my machine is Windows XP, and I haven't a sniff what version of Perl my ISP is running. For some incredibly odd reason (and I'm not sure how long this has been going on for, or whether it was happening when I was running 1.7.x or not), {{previouslink}} works fine, but {{nextlink}} appears to only select *every other* post in the archives list. Er. To be clear, I have them set up as navigation tools on my archived posts. To reproduce the phenomena, go to www.cenobyte.ca/words/archivesSelect a post. At the bottom of the main text area (before the comments), there are 'back' and 'forward' graphics. If you click on the 'back' arrow, you'll go to the previous post. If you click on the 'forward' arrow, you'll skip a post. It's very strange. Is it just me?

That is strange. I don't see that happening on my site, but I will dig into it. Can you post the name of the template and the template code that has the nextlink on it? I wonder if a template isn't rendering correctly.

It's in the Entry Page Template: Current Standard Entries. And - here's the Even Weirder Thing...it only appears to be doing it to entries after about the 350th one. Give or take. Here's the actual template I have set up: {{header}} {{cookiescode}}
<div class="content"> <p> <b>{{monthmonth}}/{{dayday}}/{{yearyear}}: "{{entrysubject}}"</b>
{{entrymainbody}}
<p align="center"> {{previouslink}} ----------------------- {{nextlink}}</p> <br /> {{smartentrymusic}}{{smartentrymood}}<br />
{{entrymorebody}} </p>
{{commentdivider}} {{entrycomments}} {{entrycommentsform}}
{{footer}} </div>

I tried testing locally, but couldn't recreate. I will keep digging and seeing if I can figure something out.
