Hi guys, I've used Greymatter before but not for many years and I'm fairly non-techical. In my blog I am unable to use foreign characters, specifically ö,ä and å. for example: ö shows as ö It's definitely not the font which is the problem. Also, the correct symbol shows in the gm.cgi addentry, edit entry section... just not on the actual entries. How can I fix this? Many thanks.

It is also no help at all to me I believe me and Paradi have exactly the same probelem. Doubt it is anything to do with the language itself. I have spoken to a few people and I was given the code i need to make it work but I don't know where to insert it.

Solved it, just put this in the {{header}} part of your template:)
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"/>

That seems like a good thing to have in the default templates. I'll add it.
Thanks for posting the solution bexsv.
