Everything has uploaded to my server fine, but I'm using godaddy.com which is a Windows server. From searching my FTP client's support boards, it would seem that Windows servers do not allow CHMOD-ing. Does this mean I can't use greymatter?

Not being Windows user I am very open to any corrections, but you should be able to change the file permissions to run GreyMatter on a windows server through a ftp program. I found this page that talks about using several popular ftp programs to chmod: stadtaus.com/en/tutorials/chmod-ftp-file-permissions.phpWhat program are you using to ftp? If possible can you use one another program?

I know how to CHMOD fine, but after some lengthy searching of godaddy's help site (which isn't very useful) it would seem that godaddy only allow Linux users to run CGI files So it would seem that in order for greymatter to work for me, I'd have to change hosts.

Yeah, I use yahoo for my domain and the services they offer with the domain reg are pretty lame. Sorry it didn't turn out better.
