 PLEASE HELP!
« Thread Started on Feb 24, 2009, 1:52pm »

I dont know what i did wrong, i tried the installation 3 seperate times and i keep getting this when i run diagnostics and repair:

Error Notice

Can't save the file "http://mysite.com/greymatter/archives/gm-testfile.txt". Please make sure that directory to save the file is CHMODed to 777 and that the file is CHMODed to 666. Also try running Diagnostics & Repair from the Configuration screen.

but I DID chmod everything correctly... I tried this for 3 days now trying to fix it and i just cant figure out whats wrong with it! IM GOING NUTS!

I LOVE GREYMATTER, and this IS not the first time i have installed it, its just the newer version thats odd.. hm.

Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is that the actual error message? If so, you have you paths wrong. It needs an absolute path to your archive files on the server. There are several ways to get the absolute path, one of the easiest is to use an ftp client and it should have the info of where your home directory is on the server.
