 YAGMS: bolshevixen.com
« Thread Started on May 31, 2008, 8:04am »

I felt like sharing.

I just resurrected a site I designed a couple of years ago--just for the sake of designing it--so I could make a few additions.

www.bolshevixen.com

It is still using 1.3.1. I might migrate to an updated version if I decide to do anything with the design in the future.

EDIT: I seem to have somehow caused the sidebar to render wrongly in IE6. Too tired to wrestle with it at the moment though.

I like the drop shadows, they break up up the straight lines nicely. Nice theme. The sidebar is fine for my firefox :) but I have found http://browsershots.org/ invaluable for testing out whether my site is cross browser friendly.

The biggest thing that the newer versions have that you might be interested in is spam control (and security updates of course).

Thanks for that link! It's the first I've heard of it and I can see myself using it a lot from now on.
